Case 446 tractor wont start?
My tractor starts then dies. Checked battery,wires,and cleaned out the carb. I THINK it might be a float sticking i am not sure. I also checked to see if gas lines and screen were clogged, they are fine. Anything else that could possibly be wrong with it.
sometimes it wont turn over, i find once u give it a kick it will start, you can cut grass for maybe 5-30minutes and it shuts down again.
How long does it run? A few seconds indicates a fuel problem. Immediate shut down indicates an electrical issue. Check the ignition switch and safety interlocks – seat, blade engagement and mower deck engagement). Some of these interlocks won’t even allow the engine to turn over.
