How I can know if a rear disc MAC is capable of?
Ok guys, new to the world of boat here. I was born, working on trucks and tractors and things of that nature – but I've never worked on a boat before. I recently bought a boat because they are fairly cheap and I thought it would be something fun for learn. The guy I bought it, "said outdrive needs to be rebuilt – but seems not the smartest tool in the shed and I'm not sure how to take it. Some people think that an engine needs a tune-up should be rebuilt, but I digress. The outdrive is out of the boat (unfortunately, took it off) and when you turn on the "input" tree, "production" seems to run fine (sorry, I'm not even familiar with the correct names.) I'm sure you could use over the stamps, but what a short visit to the installation of the thing and perhaps a waste of time? Any input would be very useful. Thanks!
Your right, but before we can help, we need a model of the year. Look to the right of the stern of the boat near where the hull and are covered. The last 4 digits must be the month and year. There are controls easily. If you have an air pump, the platform of the bicycle to fit the hole the rod at the top. Pump It Up to 15-20 psi and see it leaking down. An indicator is good, but not 100% necessary. Is to inform the seals. Manuals are easy-going, but expensive. Visit the website below, which will give much more information.
